About four years ago, I set myself the task of drawing every day. The drawing every day has stopped but the urge to create something every day has not. Some days are a scribble or a few words. Some days are sculptural forms, or knit, or college.
These are selected images from my sketchbooks. I enjoy the vitality and life of a sketch. They are a record of how the human mind figures things out and works through problems. A record of a time of play. Of curiosity. Of the will to create. The need.
My favourite part of an exhibition is if there is some glimpse into the artists inner workings.
